JOB SUMMARY:

The Functional Lead provides strategic and operational analysis services to business and delivery partners.

The lead takes care of multiple functional areas and possesses cross functional knowledge. The focus is on working closely withthe business units to gain in-depth understanding of customer s business strategy, processes, services, road-map and the context in which the business operates. Functional Lead reviews assigned business processes from end-to-end to identify and address operational and technological risks as well as identify opportunities to improve efficiency.

Functional leads often are custodians of business requirements and product road maps, liaisoning between the customer and delivery teams.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead cross-functional teams to successfully deliver system design and development for business requirements. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of industry standards, methodologies, processes and best practices. Manage customer relationships and expectations through a sound communication process.

Identify and facilitate process design changes focusing on quality improvement to meet long-term business strategies. Work closely with Project Management, Systems Requirements, Design and Development, Quality Assurance, Production Support and business teams across various Business units. Collaborate with developers, provide necessary guidance to testers during QA and serve as a liaison between Operations and IT.
