JOB SUMMARY:

This position is located within the Department of Health Care Finance (DHCF), Health Care Delivery Management Administration (HCDMA), Division of Quality and Health Outcomes. 

Responsibility for ensuring quality and performance improvement principles and practices pervades all the components and activities that impact the delivery and outcomes of healthcare services to patients served by the district’s Medicaid, CHIP, and Alliance programs.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION:

Specialized Experience – Experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and this is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. 

To be creditable, at least one (1) year of specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Specialized experience can include but not be limited to health care delivery and knowledge of major factors affecting the quality of care; application of quality assurance and continuous quality improvement principles and methods.

Development and use of healthcare quality performance measures and analyzing qualitative and quantitative data using statistical methods and interpreting statistical and epidemiological findings such as incidence and prevalence rates, probabilities, confidence intervals, correlations, odds ratios, and other statistical measurements.
