JOB DETAILS:

ABOUT THE JOB:

The Senior Business Manager will provide a direct support role to the Deputy Director of Design & Engineering (D&E) and the D&E SLT, supporting the development of the team and managing and reporting progress on the design themes, including tasking and assuring support from our commercial partners – mainly GPA’s design and technical assurance partner.

As the D&E team matures, the role and responsibilities will evolve. The individual, therefore, needs to be open, flexible, and responsive, and have the skills, experience, and resilience to support and provide direction across a range of Capital Projects functions.  

Sound project management skills are a key requirement for this role, with public sector property or construction experience essential. 

Note the role will require an ability to travel nationally to all UK sites/facilities.
